|Business Development Specialist - Southeast Region
Supports regional sales efforts by assisting District Sales Managers and dealers in conquest and sales promotion activities by utilizing appropriate Isuzu marketing materials and resources. Works with Regional Director to identify highest potential areas for activities or those areas that have special needs based on limited dealer retail capacity (or poor dealer sales performance). Supports District Sales Managers efforts by conducting and supporting sales blitzes in market areas, assisting in local trade shows, and any other dealer level sales development activities. Responsible for market area improvement plans, implementation, and follow-up of those plans.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Communications preferred; or equivalent directly related work experience. Experience in capacity of sales, marketing, promotions or sales cold calling preferred. General knowledge and/or interest in automotive and/or truck industry practices; knowledge of sales processes, sales cold-calling, marketing, or promotional activities. Customer Relations Management (CRM) systems utilization knowledge preferred. Must possess proficient PC skills in Windows applications, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills. Also must have the ability to travel and negotiate driving in city environment, and possess report development and analytical skills. Position requires approximately 75% - 80% travel, within region, to achieve Isuzu truck sales volume objective.
