Technical Service Engineer

Responsible for the implementation and coordination of all service & parts programs and policies with distributors, dealers, and OEMs. Provides technical assistance to distributors, dealers, OEMs, and end users to assure Isuzu service availability, capability, and customer acceptance. Provides assistance to distributors, dealers, and customers (including OEMs) to assure service superiority, including repair/rebuild procedures, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and product application. Improve Isuzu engine and product knowledge to become a product expert. Work with service and engineering teams at Isuzu Japan, Isuzu North America, OEMs and Japan OEMs to obtain a thorough understanding of all products and service related functions to support the ISZA service network. Create product expert presentations to assist in providing training information and direction to the team in a collaborative effort. Implements and coordinates with distributors, dealers, and OEMs, all service & parts policies and programs necessary to provide a strong service image, availability, and capability for Isuzu. Assist Field Service Engineers with warranty process by inspecting, diagnosing and providing failure analysis information to the field staff for FSE warranty determinations. This includes reviewing the Field Report (FR) reports to investigate or provide solutions to field issues.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automotive and Heavy Equipment Management, Diesel Technology, Automotive Technology, or equivalent directly related work experience. Minimum one year similar level and related experience, preferably with an engine manufacturer. Knowledge of diesel engine construction and operating principles. Thorough knowledge of electronic engine controls, diagnostics, and service tools. Understanding of service and parts operations including warranty systems and claims. Knowledge of customer relations. Proficient PC skills in all Windows applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Effective negotiation and problem resolution skills. Proficient Spanish language skills and related Spanish technical knowledge. The employee must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer. OEM Sales Engineer

Provides high level technical advice and support required in the sales process. Thoroughly explains product features, advantages, and benefits of the latest product offerings to OEM customers. Technical product offerings include but are not limited to High Pressure Common Rail Fuel Injection, DOC, SCR, DPF, and Cooled EGR. Proposes viable solutions and/or schedules a development scheme. Coordinates and organizes the technical side of the sales process and works with various teams based on their responsibilities and expertise. Requires high level of communication between ISZA PT Sales, ISZJ PT, and ISZA PT Application Engineering. Responsible for the promotion and development of engine sales and related components through OEM accounts and supports the development of engine sales to distributor developed sales channel accounts. This position requires the ability to speak/read/write in Spanish and English to effectively support sales efforts in the Latin American and North American regions. Supports ISZA Sales in meetings with OEMs on current, developing, and future opportunities. Participates in both joint and individual meetings with OEMs. May be required to lead technical discussions with various groups of varying sizes and language proficiencies. Works closely with the sales team for all applications. Provides advice and support to match the best Isuzu engine to each application. Prequalifies the chosen engine is suitable for the application. For Latin American market, responsible for engine, engine related components, and service parts sales according to goals such as sale volume and dollar amounts. Responsible for sales forecast, OCO (Open Customer Order), price vs. profit, SPA vs. profit, A/R (Account Receivable), budget control, and other sales related matters. Provides customer satisfaction and support to accomplish projects. Maintains current business and develops new business, both through distributor and direct OEM.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline preferred. Minimum three years of experience in automotive or industrial component or engine sales, equipment manufacturing or related activity, specifically in construction equipment, heavy duty transportation, or other related commercial industry. Understanding of US EPA compression ignition engines of Tier 4/Tier 5 applications and technologies mandatory. Master understanding of engine driven applications in the construction equipment field. Thorough knowledge of engine applications and performance characteristics. Understanding of independent distributor companies business practices and operations. Understanding of independent OEM customer business practices and operations. Natural Gas (CI & SI) engine systems beneficial . Knowledge of Latin American customs and business practices. Manager, Applications & Sales Engineering

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an Engineering discipline combined with experience in engine applications in the off-highway field. Minimum five years' experience with an engine manufacturer, engine distributor, or related field, including project coordination experience. Minimum of three years' experience with an engine manufacturer working as an engine application engineer. Minimum of one year of management experience within an engine manufacture or closely related discipline.

Parts Supply Planner II

Reviews, analyzes, and maintains optimum inventory levels of groups of parts using all available tools, i.e., Xelus, PII, and various system generated warning and maintenance reports. Identifies parts which require special analysis. Performs special analysis of specific parts or groups of parts as requested by AIPDN management. Technical Programs Administrator

Authors, edits, compiles, updates, and coordinates the publication and distribution of all parts technical publications. Coordinates production of catalog corrections and accompanying Parts Technical bulletins. Reviews all Industrial Engine catalogs and provides recommended order quantities. Reviews parts catalogs for accuracy and submits findings to the appropriate department. Ensures final edition catalogs are published in a timely manner. Works closely with vendors that provide Electronic Parts Catalogs to our dealers. Recommends changes and/or updates. Plans and publishes the schedules for creating and submitting parts orders for new model vehicles. Monitors all aspects of the provisioning process to ensure activities are completed as scheduled. Compiles Parts Master Schedule data and conducts monthly Provisioning Meeting. Provides in-depth technical assistance to dealers/distributors. Minimum five years related experience with a domestic automotive manufacturer, importer, dealership, or aftermarket company. Extensive familiarity with catalog systems, vehicle new model development scheduling, and service parts engineering functions and procedures.
