Field Service Engineer

Functions as liaison between corporate and the distributor, dealers, and OEMs while ensuring the highest standard of assistance to the network and customers. Consistently reviews and tracks service and parts standards with assigned network territory to ensure continuous growth and customer satisfaction. Identifies, develops, and implements solutions to customer and product issues. Applies appropriate policies and procedures to ensure customer retention and effective use of company resources. Previous experience as an automotive or truck technician and/or dealer service and parts operations desirable. Thorough understanding of off-highway engine or product mechanical and electrical principles. Solid knowledge of automotive/truck/engine terminology and operations. Knowledge of modern diesel engine systems and distributor, dealer, or OEM operations. Proficient PC skills in Windows applications and with smart communication technology. Technical Service Engineer

Responsible for the implementation and coordination of all service & parts programs and policies with distributors, dealers, and OEMs. Provides technical assistance to distributors, dealers, OEMs, and end users to assure Isuzu service availability, capability, and customer acceptance. Provides assistance to distributors, dealers, and customers (including OEMs) to assure service superiority, including repair/rebuild procedures, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and product application. Improve Isuzu engine and product knowledge to become a product expert. Work with service and engineering teams at Isuzu Japan, Isuzu North America, OEMs and Japan OEMs to obtain a thorough understanding of all products and service related functions to support the ISZA service network. Engineer II, CV Engineering (Electrical)

Automotive parts knowledge for material selection (metal, plastic, textile), production processes, test methods, regulations, and component/sub-system design development process. Familiar with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)/American Standard Test Method (ASTM). CAD/CAM design systems; Siemens NX & TcAE or similar. PC computer system experience and usage; Microsoft Office. Familiarization with simulation software and common diagnostic equipment. Cyber security fundamentals. Advance New Technologies including Electric Vehicle (EV), Electric Vehicle Hybrid (HEV), Autonomous Vehicle, Model Based Design (MBD), and Telematics. Strong analytical skills. Competence in problem solving. Visualization aptitude - ability to sketch, interpret drawings and 3D virtual designs.
