Manager, Lifecycle Business

Assists DSPMs within assigned area to identify incremental Isuzu parts and service business opportunities. Develops aftersales initiatives and marketing promotions to increase overall Isuzu products in the market place and to grow dealers' service and parts volumes. Conducts in-dealer reviews with DSPM to target areas that will have the biggest impact on profit improvement and support the Lifecycle Business Model for Isuzu dealers. Jointly with regional staff, analyzes market areas and develops action plans to expand fleet and independent repair shop parts purchases. Reviews dealership service and parts operations with regional staff, develops cooperative action plans, and sets schedule for in-dealership market reviews. Prepares and presents final report with regional staff of recommendations to dealership executive management. Report includes incremental revenue potential and itemized key growth improvement areas. Develop and initiates programs with DSPMs that will assist dealership in obtaining objectives. Tailors improvement programs to fit dealership business flow to help ensure success. Bachelor's degree in Automotive or Industrial Arts, or equivalent directly related work experience. Minimum of five years related experience in dealership fixed operations and five years with automotive or truck manufacturer. Commercial vehicle dealership retail operations experience desirable. General knowledge of automotive and or truck industry practices and dealership fixed operations. Good knowledge of dealer network fundamentals and principals. Proficient PC skills in Windows applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills. Automotive technical skills. Report development and analytical skills. Basic video production and photography skills. Ability to identify and judge internal dealer operations and human tendencies. The employee must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer. Work performed in dealer service and parts environment requires frequent standing. Aftersales Development Specialist

Analyzes markets to identify current customers, small fleets, independent repair facilities, and municipalities located within a market. Prospects directly by utilizing dealer parts sales personnel, internet, mailings, personal visits, and industry networking to promote Isuzu Genuine & Fleet Value parts. Manager, Fleet Development

Provides support to Isuzu Commercial Truck dealer technicians for assistance with troubleshooting, failure analysis, and repair of Isuzu commercial trucks. Updates and maintains information in the technical database and provides documentation of product issues and dealer diagnostic process. Database is used for product concern reporting and as a knowledge base to assist with the resolution of future Isuzu commercial truck issues. Continuously reviews and provides feedback on all technical service literature used for dealer service operation, including, but not limited to, service manuals, electrical schematics, and service bulletins. Works directly with Isuzu engineering and Brand Quality Manager to identify and resolve product issues. Test Engineer

Analyzes engine and vehicle testing to validate and certify production projects for North American applications. Applies engineering principles to improve the overall effectiveness and resource utilization of the PVRD test lab. Troubleshoots problems and develops solutions to meet complex testing requirements. Analyzes diesel engine calibration and emission certification testing on engine and chassis dynamometer test stands to ensure the quality of data generated meets customer requirements. Implements new test systems and measurement equipment into test cells. Investigates new technologies and suppliers to improve overall testing efficiency and effectiveness. Troubleshoots data quality and data acquisition issues and develops solutions or identifies vendors to supply solutions to encountered problems. Creates new and improves existing key processes and procedures related to KPI (key performance indicator) goals. Works with outside contractors and engineering facilities supplying services to our organization. Supports off site testing activities as required. Evaluates new regulatory requirements and their impact on test procedures. Attends conferences and training classes related to test systems, measurement equipment, and data acquisition software. Supports instrumentation and data acquisition tasks for vehicle based testing programs.

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum three years of experience with engine or vehicle testing. Minimum three years of experience with test automation equipment, emission benches, fuel and air flow measurement devices, and engine / powertrain control modules. Diesel or gasoline engine calibration experience preferred. Detailed understanding of principles of internal combustion engines and diesel exhaust after-treatment systems. Familiarity with federal regulations regarding engine testing procedures (40 CFR Part 1065/1066). Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Previous experience with measurement and analysis software, such as Matlab, LabView, UniPlot, and INCA. Effective oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and technicians. The employee must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer. At times this is a sedentary position in a controlled lab environment which requires only occasional reaching, stooping, and lifting of items weighing 5 lbs. or less. At other times this position requires frequent bending, reaching, crouching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, and lifting of 25-60 lbs. and heavy lifting on rare occasions.
