Sales Support Planner

Business Strategy and Planning - accumulate customer order list, sales forecast/projection, and new project and summarize to establish business target volume, sales amount, GP, and OP. Research economy, market and world economy forecast and provide annual summary. Sales Process - coordinate with engineering, supply chain and vendors to meet customers' power unit/engine delivery expectations. Share weekly production schedule and forecast for power unit EAKs with SCM and production team and set up priority for production. Coordinate projects related to power unit production EAKs for off-highway application by scheduling prototype build, arranging first production of new model, and collaborating with parts suppliers, supply chain team and outside sales. Customer Support - work directly with customers by monitoring open orders and ensuring production schedule, delivery and shipment dates meet customer expectations. Promote and maintain relationships with customers by offering cost reductions and consignment program. Sales and Budget Reporting - generate monthly sales reports (P/L, sales activity and Officers Meeting) by working closely with the Powertrain team. Monitor GP and GP% in SAP monthly sales report and address any issues directly with SCM and Sales. Develops and maintains database to track B/P, actual results versus plan. Price/Profit Reporting - Monitor MSRP, evaluate pricing and cost reductions. Work with Director, Sales & Service to set all pricing and profit targets to meet corporate goals and review sales team's quotes. Sales Support - create sales materials and presentations, estimate cost and sales price for both engine and power unit, maintain sales price list, and provide market data, market share, and sales history and trend with analysis. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in sales planning, engineering, business, international business, sales, or marketing; or equivalent directly related work experience. Minimum five years of experience in automotive or industrial component or engine sales, equipment manufacturing or related activity, specifically in construction equipment, heavy duty transportation, or other related commercial industry. Experience in production, account management, and sales strategy. Understanding of independent distributor companies business practices and operations. Understanding of independent OEM customer business practices and operations. Thorough knowledge of engine applications and performance characteristics. Proficient PC skills in Windows applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good negotiation, organizational, planning, analytical and mathematical skills. Ability to prepare and present business presentations in English and Japanese (preferred). Employee must be able to perform occasional light lifting (5 - 25 lbs.) and rare heavy lifting (60 lbs.). Must be able on rare occasions to bend, crawl, climb, crouch, kneel and reach above shoulder level in the performance of job duties. Must be able to work in hot, cold, and high altitude extremes. Position requires incidental travel including some overnight stays.

OEM Sales Engineer

Provides high level technical advice and support required in the sales process. Thoroughly explains product features, advantages, and benefits of the latest product offerings to OEM customers. Technical product offerings include but are not limited to High Pressure Common Rail Fuel Injection, DOC, SCR, DPF, and Cooled EGR. Proposes viable solutions and/or schedules a development scheme. Coordinates and organizes the technical side of the sales process and works with various teams based on their responsibilities and expertise. Requires high level of communication between ISZA PT Sales, ISZJ PT, and ISZA PT Application Engineering. Responsible for the promotion and development of engine sales and related components through OEM accounts and supports the development of engine sales to distributor developed sales channel accounts. This position requires the ability to speak/read/write in Spanish and English to effectively support sales efforts in the Latin American and North American regions. Supports ISZA Sales in meetings with OEMs on current, developing, and future opportunities. Participates in both joint and individual meetings with OEMs. May be required to lead technical discussions with various groups of varying sizes and language proficiencies. Works closely with the sales team for all applications. Provides advice and support to match the best Isuzu engine to each application. Prequalifies the chosen engine is suitable for the application. For Latin American market, responsible for engine, engine related components, and service parts sales according to goals such as sale volume and dollar amounts. Responsible for sales forecast, OCO (Open Customer Order), price vs. profit, SPA vs. profit, A/R (Account Receivable), budget control, and other sales related matters. Provides customer satisfaction and support to accomplish projects. Maintains current business and develops new business, both through distributor and direct OEM.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline preferred. Minimum three years of experience in automotive or industrial component or engine sales, equipment manufacturing or related activity, specifically in construction equipment, heavy duty transportation, or other related commercial industry. Understanding of US EPA compression ignition engines of Tier 4/Tier 5 applications and technologies mandatory. Master understanding of engine driven applications in the construction equipment field. Thorough knowledge of engine applications and performance characteristics. Understanding of independent distributor companies business practices and operations. Understanding of independent OEM customer business practices and operations. Natural Gas (CI & SI) engine systems beneficial . Knowledge of Latin American customs and business practices. Strong PC skills in Windows applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to create and present ideas using visual mediums; conversational Spanish with the ability to read/write required. Good organizational skills. The employee must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer. This is primarily a sedentary position in a controlled office environment which requires only occasional reaching, stooping, and lifting of office files, reports or records, typically weighing 5 lbs. or less. This position requires up to 50% travel, including international travel and domestic travel with overnight stays.

General Ledger Accountant

Performs general ledger account analyses and reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and preparing related adjusting entries. Prepares fixed assets journal entries and maintains detail worksheet and roll forward schedules. Prepares selected sections of financial statement package including financial statements by lines of business. Daily general ledger balancing and clearing of suspense accounts.
